Diversity and equality
KBN works to promote equality and prevent discrimination. The work includes gender, disabilities, ethnicity and religion, sexual orientation and age.
To maintain gender balance and strengthen focus on diversity the Board of Directors has approved general guidelines on diversity and equality effective as of 2016.
To promote diversity and equality is a fundamental requirement in recruitment, leadership and employee development and succession planning.
KBN’s objective is to achieve a good gender balance at all organisational levels and within all units with an overall gender balance target of 40%.
- When recruiting new employees the best qualified female/woman and male/man must be identified before the final choice is made.
- When making use of an external recruiting agency KBN must choose an agency showing good results in selecting good candidates of both genders.
- When changing the composition of the management team and teams/units, a good gender balance must be maintained.
