Kjersti Ulset joins KBN from Nasdaq
Kjersti Ulset has been appointed as the new Chief Risk Officer for KBN, which she joins from Nasdaq Clearing Oslo where she was Head of Clearing Risk.

By appointing Kjersti Ulset, KBN gains a skilled manager who will bring valuable expertise in risk management. She has a strong background in first and second-line risk management at an international exchange and clearing company and is also skilled at interacting with supervisory authorities”, comments the President and CEO of KBN, Jannicke Trumpy Granquist.
Kjersti Ulset completed a Master of Science degree at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, majoring in physics, mathematics and statistics. She has also studied financial mathematics and actuarial science at the University of Oslo. Her previous role was Head of Clearing Risk at Nasdaq Clearing Oslo where she has held a range of risk management positions over the last decade. She also has experience of the energy and power industry from Enron/American Electric Power/Nordic Trading House, Natsource Tullet Scandinavia and Thomson Reuters Point Carbon.
