The Kangaroo and Kauri markets got off to a strong start in 2022 and KBN was active printing its largest Kangaroo and second largest Kauri transaction. Both 5-year transactions were very received by the market, with strong participation from local investors.

Solid 5-year USD Benchmark

On 12 January, KBN priced a new USD 1.25 billion 5-year benchmark. The transaction enjoyed a broad and global distribution with a final orderbook in excess of USD 1.75 billion.

Stable margins and continued growth in green lending

KBN’s net interest income in the third quarter of 2021 was NOK 413 million as compared to NOK 437 million in the same period in 2020. The third quarter saw good growth in KBN’s green lending, and its portfolio of green loans grew by NOK 2.1 billion in the quarter.
