Changing from diesel to electric forklift trucks

More and more companies are joining the green shift. A waste management company (RIR IKS) at the Norwegian west coast, in Romsdal, are replacing their vehicles.

High environmental ambitions

The company has high environmental ambitions. Their goal is to be a leading waste management company, both in terms of quality and the environment. The idea of a circular economy should form the basis for all activities in the company.

The company plans to replace diesel-powered construction machines with electric ones, and this forklift is the first in line. They were granted a green loan from KBN to finance the forklift truck in 2020.

A powerful machine, saving energy and costs

The electric forklift truck (Jungheinrick EFG S30) has plenty of power. I it can lift up to 3000 kilograms. In addition, it saves energy and costs through its innovative use of technology. The forklift can be used both indoors and outdoors.
