KBN considering issuing an NOK-denominated green bond
KBN has mandated Nordea Markets and SEB to hold a series of investor meetings in order to investigate the possibility of KBN issuing a long-term NOK-denominated green bond.
Depending on the prevailing market conditions, KBN may issue a senior-unsecured green bond with a relatively long maturity.
KBN has previously issued three green bonds each totalling USD 500 million, and is the largest issuer of green bonds in Norway.
Nordic reporting model for green bonds
At the OECD’s Green Investment Financing Forum held in Paris on 24 October, we launched a Nordic reporting model for green bonds in conjunction with nine other Nordic issuers. The initiative was very well received by major ESG investors.
A separate launch event will take place in Oslo in collaboration with SEB on 20 November at Kulturhuset.
