UK-Norway Green Finance Summit

Climate change and environmental degradation are among our most urgent and pressing challenges. The financial sector needs to accelerate its contribution to the transition towards a sustainable economy.

KBN, the British Embassy Oslo, UN Global Compact Norway and Norsif invite experts, politicians and executives from the financial sector in the UK and Norway to discuss climate-related risks and opportunities in Oslo on 23 January.   

The summit will include keynote presentations and roundtable discussions on how to accelerate green finance to advance the transition to a low carbon economy, carbon pricing as mechanism to tackle emission levels, and stress test on the financial risks of climate change.
